Croom Resigns
Reports have been confirmed that Coach Croom has indeed resigned as head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
There were rumors early this morning and confirmation came via many media sources, including ESPN scrolling it across the ticker during the Virginia/Virginia Tech game.
I would expect a press conference at some point today. There is no word on the status of the assistant coaches or any official candidates being named. More will come out as the day goes on. I am about to be travelling back to Birmingham from Meridian and will update the blog as much as I can.
Greg Byrne will address the media at 3pm this afternoon.
