Derek Sherrod Commits To Mississippi State
Rob Haralson of BulldogBlitz.com is reporting that Derek Sherrod, the top offensive lineman in Mississippi, has verbally committed to Mississippi State.
“I went up there and I vebally committed to Mississippi State,” he said. “When I first arrived there I immediately went and talked to coach Croom and told him I verbally commited and I wanted to be a Bulldog. It’s history from that point.
Derek’s brother Dezmond is already a tight end on the team. He also had bonded with 3 other players at MSU camp this past summer: Addison Lawrence, Quentin Saulsberry and Colton Jenkins. They had been given the nickname “The Four Horsemen”, a term that will probably be used for many years to come if their verbal commitments hold true. All four players have now verbally committed to Mississippi State.
