Dixon To Start Against Georgia Tech
Kyle Veazey is reporting that Anthony Dixon will probably start this Saturday against Georgia Tech. Dixon aggrivated a groin injury in last weeks loss to Auburn and has been on a day-to-day status throughout the week.
“He looked OK,” Croom said. “He didn’t have any pads on, so that’s what I’m worried about, how he’ll look with pads on. I’m concerned. The guy hasn’t practiced all week. He ran around OK today. There’s no way he can be as sharp as he normally is, but we’re better with him than without him. If he’s ready to go, he’ll start.”
If if Dixon doesn’t play, I like our depth at running back right now with Christian Ducre and Arnil Stallworth, as well as freshman Robert Elliot and Wade Bonner. I think most fans are ready to see him on the field more.
