ESPN To Mississippi: No Football For You!
You are probably wondering what ESPN has to do with a game being broadcast by Raycom, right? Georgia Tech is an ACC team (duh) and are signed to Raycom as part of their ACC coverage package, which is where the game will be televised this weekend.
ESPN/ABC has denied a Raycom request to allow Mississippi stations to broadcast the ACC game, but it can still be watched on ESPN Game Plan, which is pay-per-view. Veazey thinks that is the reason for the denial.
So, there are only a few options for watching this weekend’s game. You could buy the game from ESPN Game Plan or you can get eastbound and down to Atlanta and find some tickets to see the Bulldogs take on the Ramblin’ Wreck.
