Game Week Linkage
So the bye week wasn’t all bad. We got plenty of time to recharge and watch a few games without crying or hiding our faces in shame. The game coming up against Vanderbilt might as well be against Southern Cal with the way we have played so far this season.
First off, Vanderbilt is now ranked #13 and #14 in the AP and Coaches poll today.
Vandy is a well coached, disciplined team. Even though they don’t have the marquee players that an LSU or Florida has, the other two ingredients make for a fine football team. Chris Low seems to agree. He has an article up talking about the Vandy coaching staff and how they are able to coach this team well.
On our side of the field, Brad Locke of the Daily Journal grades the Bulldogs based on their permformance through the first 5 games, and it isn’t pretty. The only areas to receive anything higer than a C were receivers, safeties, and the punter.
