I love this nugget from Rick Cleveland’s column:
Making matters worse, try as they might to put the Alabama debacle behind them, fellow students wouldn’t let them.
“Everywhere you went, people kept mentioning it,” Power said.
Some did it in derisive ways, sophomore Dietric Slater said, “especially the football players.”
Slater paused and smiled before adding, “We don’t know why they would do that.”
What the hell? I guess the football team is glad to have someone else getting blown out by 50 points.
