Jamont Gordon earns SEC Player of the Week Honors
Jamont Gordon was named this weeks SEC Player Of The Week for his performance against the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.
- Averaged 24.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in wins over Kentucky and Alabama. Shot 61 percent (17-28 FGs) from the field, including 9-of-15 (60%) from beyond the three-point arc.
- Totaled a game-high 24 points, including matching his career high with five 3-pointers (on seven attempts), nine rebounds and five assists in helping lead the Bulldogs to a 69-64 home triumph over the Wildcats.
- Against Alabama, he posted a 24-point effort, including a career-high 10 made field goals (on 17 attempts) along with 4-of-8 three-point shooting, as well as five assists and four rebounds.
