Mississippi State – Georgia Tech Game Day Linkage
Not much in the way of linkage for today. Jim Mashek of the SunHerald has an article talking about Georgia Tech’s offense – basically a modern version of the Wishbone that Croom played in under Paul “Bear” Bryant at Alabama.
“It is extremely difficult to defend,” Croom said. “I played in the wishbone. I know how hard it is to defend. I know whenever (Alabama) played Mississippi State and Coach (Emory) Bellard was here, we always worked on it in training camp separately. Their offense is a little variation on a pure wishbone. It adds some elements to it in the passing game.”
Hopefully it will be a good game. I am heading over to Atlanta shortly with my wife and son to see the Bulldogs play and grab some chili dogs at The Varsity. Pictures and a post-game report coming this evening. I might even try blogging from the game via Twitter.
