MSU – Georgia Tech Game TV
I have seen a lot of posts flying around the message boards asking about the television situation for this game. Yes, the game is televised by Raycom sports, but it is part of their ACC package. They tried to get clearance for their SEC affiliates in Mississippi to show the ACC broadcast, but ESPN blocked them since the game is also broadcast as part of their GamePlan PPV package.
So, you have several choices. If your Internet service provider supports it, you can watch the game free on ESPN360.com, EPSNs online broadcast channel. Just head on over to the site and see if your ISP is in the list. I know that Charter is not, but AT&T is.
If you don’t have that option, you can look for a sports bar that might be carrying the GamePlan PPV. I have seen mention that Cowbells will be carrying it.
Another online option is a site I saw mentioned on the Six Pack forums: http://www.myp2pforum.eu/ncaa/.
It is basically a collection of people who stream live TV over the internet using a program called TVAnts. From what I can tell, once you download the TVAnts program all you need to do is click the link next to our game (see the ‘NCAA Football Week 4 | Streaming’ thread) and you should be in business.
Hope some of those options work. Either way, you should be able to watch the replay on CSS tomorrow at 3pm.
