Petersen Offered Mississippi State Job
KIVI-TV in Idaho is reporting that Boise State head coach Chris Petersen has been offered $9 million over 4 years to become the next head coach at Mississippi State.
A Mississippi television station’s citing sources inside Mississippi State’s Athletic department that BSU Head Football Coach Chris Petersen has been offered a four-year contract worth almost $9 million. Our affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi, tells us Petersen met with school officials in Denver to discuss the open position. MSU’s coach, Sylvester Croom, stepped down last week.
Nothing has been confirmed by the MSU Athletic Department so this may just be a step-out based on speculation.
