SEC Power Poll Ballot – Week 9
Nothing has really changed for me in the SEC Power Poll, but here is my ballot for week 9 anyway.
1. Alabama – A solid game against the Vols, and they even scored in the second half.
2. Florida – Tebow and Co. tore Kentucky to shreds.
3. Georgia – The Bulldogs put together a solid game against a good LSU squad. In Death Valley. At Night.
4. LSU – Losing to both Florida and Georgia shows that they are not the same team they were last year.
5. South Carolina – With games against Tennessee, Arkansas and Clemson remaining, the Gamecocks have a good chance at finishing 8-4 and going bowling.
6. Vanderbilt – Vandy is losing rank very quickly as they get in to their SEC schedule. They may still have a shot at beating Tennessee again this year.
7. Ole Miss – A good win over Arkansas and the Rebels have a change at going to a bowl this year if they can finish strong.
8. Kentucky – The Wildcats had been playing well this year until the game against Florida. They should bounce back this weekend against MSU.
9. Tennessee – The Vols seem to be all over the place, winning one week, losing the next. They played a great first half against.
10. Arkansas – They are improving with every game this season and should be a contender in the SEC West next year.
11. Auburn – Sucked the big one against an “okay” Big East team. Way to go guys!
12. Mississippi State – Croom burned a red shirt on a promising wide receiver for a 2 yard end around play. Way to go!
