Tim Brando comments on MSU and Croom.

I emailed Tim Brando this question:

Tim,

What grade do you give Sly Croom’s first season at Mississippi State? State finished 3-8, and last in the SEC West for the fourth straight year. Also, the Bulldogs played poorly Saturday in the Egg Bowl versus Mississippi, losing 20-3. What reasons do State fans have to believe MSU is headed in the right direction? How long do you give Sly to get back to a bowl?

Tim read my email and responded by saying he thought State was close to winning 4 or 5 games this season. He said that was a good thing and that horses just aren’t there. He said it would be another couple of years before State could legitimately compete in the SEC. He gave SC a B+, taking away points for the Maine loss.
