Wes Carroll in Miami Herald
The Miami Herald has a nice article about MSU sophomore QB Wes Carroll, who was a high school standout at St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida.
Carroll has only been in Starkville, Miss., for little more than a year and already he’s a team leader. Case in point: It’s unusual for a football team to be represented by a sophomore at the Southeastern Conference Media Days. Teams can only bring two players to meet the press and that privilege is usually reserved for seniors. Just like his decision to start Carroll as a freshman, Croom says there is no rule against bringing a sophomore to media days.
